The book is packed with gorgeous images from the day – pictures by Jill Furmanovsky, Ken Haddock, Bradley Quinn, Carrie Davenport and others – and beautiful pieces from writers Ivan Little (who reviews the concerts), Ralph McLean (who reflects on Van’s career and ongoing workload as he turns 70) and Anthony Toner (who tells the story of how the shows were organised, and contributes articles on the international fans and the Cyprus Avenue residents).
‘Caught One More Time’ has been jointly published by Exile Productions and EastSide Arts, who organised the concerts, with the aim of producing a fitting souvenir of a remarkable day, and everyone involved has pulled out all the stops to make this a beautifully-designed object.
The book is available for sale in Belfast from No Alibis bookstore on Botanic Avenue. It can also be ordered online from the EastSide Arts website.
There are also plans to have the book available for sale at some of Van’s Irish concerts in 2016.
