Spectrum Festival Lineup 2015

The Details

Spectrum Festival

3rd July 2015

Folk rockers Emerald Armada headline Spectrum 2015.

The waiting and anticipation is now over as Spectrum Festival ’15 was finally announced on Monday night. And what line up it is. Headlining this year at the Mandela Hall and Bunatee Bar, Belfast on Friday 3rd July is the mighty The Emerald Armada. The 5 piece have been taking the music scene by storm over the last 18 months, firmly securing themselves as festival favourites throughout the summer.  With all the right noises in all the right places this is one act that is a must see of the summer.

Joining the Armada lads will be Joshua Burnside, who’s critically acclaimed single ‘Black Dog Sin’ was lusted after by the likes of BBC6 Music’s Lauren Laverne,  New Ancestors described by our homegrown Radio 1 lad Phil Taggart as  “Lyrically ahead of the game. A top band you NEED in your life.”

Also making an appearance is the incredible Loris.  A fresh new sound with the ever fabulous Frances leading the female fronted band who have also had airplay on Radio 1 thanks to Mr Huw Stephens.  Self proclaimed “Indie darlings/punk bitches” Hot Cops will be bringing their incredible noise to the stage with recent tracks such as ‘Decay’ and ‘Six’ along with alt rock/pop lads and lass R51 who’s new EP ‘Pillow Talk’ is going down very well indeed, ahead of a busy summer of festival appearances.

Bangor boys In an Instant are also set to join this line up amidst a busy schedule of writing, gigging and promising trips to London as are rock ‘n’ roll four piece Echo Raptors who have supported the likes of The Charlatans and The Happy Mondays.

Hitting the decks will be the powerhouse that is Go Girl. New, freshed faced and full of sass, thee girls are on a mission and are ones to watch.

Tickets are £8.00 on the door, and they open at 6.30pm. For more info check out Spectrum Festival ’15 on Facebook.
